Loveland--16"23" Acrylic
This image is from a drainpipe in a parking lot in Loveland, Colorado. My wife Terry and I were there to drop off 2 photos that were accepted in a juried show. It was a beautiful day, and as we walked around the town, I saw this image. As I was taking pictures, some workmen were nearby hauling away old furniture and equipment. They took an interest in my work and took a break to look at my photos. The lines in the “sky” show the corrugations of the metal while the base of the image result from staining and rust due to runoff.
