Fortification--
This image’s title is a bit of a pun. This photo is playful revenge on those who try to obliterate the randomness that I love. I found this image on a dumpster that was painted in an attempt to smooth out its dings, scratches and graffiti. This practice often makes me feel as if I am in a race against time—will I be able to preserve a beautiful image before the dumpster is repaired and made “new” again? I love that someone’s attempt to smooth out this dumpster’s rough edges resulted in an image that evokes fortresses.
